Getting Started with Access Groups

In this video we will walk through the basics of TeamBridge’s powerful Access groups feature which will allow you to control who sees what and where in TeamBridge.

Access groups are accessible through the Settings/Access Groups section (if you have access to see this sections :) ).

This tutorial covers:

  • Admin Setings
    • Data Builder
      • The ability to change the structural layout of the data in TeamBridge. Warning: Users with this permission can delete or update columns which can erase large quantities of data which cannot be recovered. Only a select few users should have this, and even then be vary careful
    • Workspace Builder
      • Users with this permission can create workspaces, add sections and reorganize the workspace as they see fit. This is useful at the time of account creation, to make sure no one is blocked from optimizing their workflow, however you may want to reduce the number of users that have this permission once everything is live and in production.
  • Workspaces
    • What pages and sections can users see, and what are the different types of access:
      • Can View
      • Can Edit Filters (User can see and change the view settings on the data show on their workspaces)
      • Full Access
  • Data
    • What data does this user have access to?
      • In TeamBridge data access is a powerful way to make sure the user only has access to what is relevant to them. Data access permissions are powerful and allow for very precise access control, but be sure to test with various user profiles to ensure you have everything set up the way you want it.
  • Mobile Settings
    • Configure the mobile app sections, and features exactly the way you want it. Modify time-clock and other functionalities to match to your policies.
